We have two junior student categories inspired by SPACE…

Year 1 to 6 | Blast off to space

Blast off into SPACE! Draw your ideas from planets, stars, space travel, aliens and more. Just look up into the sky at night and let your imagination wander…then get making amazing wearable art!

Year 7 to 8 | Space: The final frontier

Boldly go where no designer has gone before - SPACE, THE FINAL FRONTIER! Stretch your imagination, creativity and craftsmanship to create an amazing wearable artwork that is entirely out of this world!

Get inspired

With the entire universe as your source of inspiration what will you create? Something from the unknown inspired by an alien species? Or will you take the stars and planets as your inspiration? Maybe you can research the amazing technology involved in space travel and research? Or you can even pay homage to the amazing scientists and astronomers that have discovered the mysteries of space? Better yet, what mythology and stories from the past are related to the vastness of the night sky?

Remember, you can work with friends and submit a group entry. Just be sure to read the conditions of entry and fill in details for multiple entrants on your entry form.

‘Space’ not for you? Don’t forget, for year 7-8 students you can also choose to enter the ‘Open’ category* and really let your imagination run loose…

*note: ‘Open’ category not available for years 1-6 students
